Alison Temple-Smith BSc (Hons) Ost
Alison has worked for many years in the Clinic, and at her own clinic in London. She has recently moved to Bath, where she is now running The Bath Practice. She specialises in adults of all ages and has a very structural and practical approach.
Her extensive knowledge and experience enables her to analyse problems and diagnose complaints using a variety of clinical skills. If necessary, these will be backed up by referral to GPs for x-rays or other tests. Alison’s treatment usually consists of a combination of soft-tissue releasing techniques and some specific adjustments affecting joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons. Acupuncture needles or ultrasound may also be used on occasion. Advice is given on self-help treatments, exercises (not too many!) and ergonomics.
She is a fully qualified osteopath, and is also qualified in the use of acupuncture needles and therapeutic ultrasound. She is a member of/registered with:
